"I don't know how it happened, but it happens randomly--by itself." And without a sound . . . That's pretty much how I explain most things in my life too! Kaya has a great attitude for living life. Loved this!
Barbara Landis is a public historian who works with individuals and nations developing the www.CarlisleIndianSchool.org biographical and research web pages. She urges those who study Carlisle to recognize the complex response from descendants of school students. As a consequence of her work, Landis makes it a point to respectfully honor those students and their descendants who lived the experiment, to celebrate with those who prospered from it, and to grieve with those whose lives were diminished by it.
