I am a Carlisle resident, and just toured the CC Historical Society and viewed the lovely and tragic display there. I have knowledge of something you might appreciate, but you also may already know. There was an Indian football player by the name of Wasika (sic), and a son sung by our grandfather, who had seen him play. The song goes, " Wasika, Waskika, he's our great big center rush, can they stop him? No, not much. Waskia, Waskica. Lo, behold him, they can't hold him, Waskica." It would seem a shame to lose a song that was popular when the School existed, and so I would be happy to pass the melody on to you, if you are interested.
